Spooky Book Club chooses Shailee Thompson’s novel for October 29

Winter Haven Public Library’s Spooky Book Club will discuss Shailee Thompson’s “How to Kill a Guy in 10 Dates” on Thursday, October 29. The meeting runs from 5 to 6 p.m. in the downtown library’s Flex Space.

Readers have a few weeks to work through the selected novel before the gathering at 325 Avenue A NW. The book’s title is the club’s October selection, not a workshop topic or advice program.

For residents looking for a seasonal activity away from costume parties and trick-or-treating, the discussion offers an evening built around a shared read. Check the library’s catalog for a copy and the linked event page for any meeting updates. The program falls two days before Halloween.
