Winter Haven Public Library’s Monster Mosh Pit will give children two age-specific Halloween dance sessions Saturday, October 17. Ages five and under attend from 10 to 10:30 a.m.; children six and older have a separate session from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Both sessions are in the downtown library’s Multipurpose Room at 325 Avenue A NW. Children are invited to wear Halloween costumes for a playful party with music and glow sticks.

The age split is the detail parents need when choosing an arrival time. These are half-hour dance gatherings rather than a single all-morning event, so families should plan for the session that fits their children. The library describes the program as lighthearted seasonal fun rather than a frightening attraction.
